About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Support Assistant to join our In-house property legal team.

This is a 11-month fixed-term contract, working full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential legal administrative support for leasehold and freehold transactions.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, estate agents, and managers to gather and relay relevant information.
  • Ensure compliance with lease eligibility criteria.
  • Manage conveyancing/property files efficiently.
  • Escalate queries promptly, ensuring effective communication between all parties.
  • Provide administrative support, gathering necessary documentation to commence the conveyancing process.
  • Communicate clearly, explain requirements, and respond to queries effectively.
  • Use initiative to manage tasks and be mindful of deadlines.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A-levels (or equivalent)
  • Previous legal experience and/or legal qualifications
  • Willingness to study for a legal qualification (ideal)

Experience in managing and administering large caseloads, excellent customer service skills, and understanding of effective and prompt information sharing are also essential.
