Job Description

Mitie's structural engineering division, P2ML, is seeking an experienced structural engineer to join our team in a key role. As a leading provider of bespoke engineering solutions to the telecoms industry, we work closely with major network operators to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and approve structural strengthening designs using MS Tower software.

• Develop and analyze structures, including hand calculations, to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Lead projects from conception to completion, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Mentor and train junior engineers to ensure their continued growth and development within the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the telecoms sector.

• Proficiency in MS Tower or equivalent software.

• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it, with a focus on structural engineering.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and suggest process improvements.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements and regulations.
