In this role, you will be responsible for the financial management of various project phases, including internal procurement and commercial reporting, ensuring that all activities align with the overall project goals.

This organization undertakes a diverse array of projects, including new builds and refurbishments across sectors such as Education, Health, Defence, Leisure, and Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating commercial plans for packages, integrating deliverables and pricing targets into the scope of work.
  • Provide commercial and contractual guidance to the project team.
  • Support the procurement team in developing package procurement documentation, ensuring streamlined procurement processes.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and mitigate potential commercial and contractual risks.
  • Implement risk management policies effectively.
  • Prepare Subcontract Final Accounts for approval and sign-off.
  • Compile and present monthly Cost Reports to stakeholders.
  • Assess and verify the work completed by Sub-Contractors.
  • Authorize interim and final payments as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in quantity surveying within the construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration, procurement processes, and change management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and project management software.
  • A valid driving license.
