Construction Project Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Estimator to join our team at Sphere Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and accurately estimate material, labour and equipment costs for multiple construction projects.
* Participate in bid meetings, negotiations and attend all pre-let meetings to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
* Review project plans, specifications and other documentation to understand project requirements and identify potential risks.
* Research and analyse market trends, material costs and subcontractor pricing to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
* Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids and project documentation.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role in the construction industry is essential.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, material markets and negotiation techniques is required.
* Familiarity with construction estimating software and tools is a plus.
What We Offer:
* Competitive salary range of £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience.
