Position Overview: As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for our UK Commercial sales division, you will drive revenue and strategic expansion within the UK sector.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the Managing Director, EMEA, and collaborate closely with the Global Chief Executive Officer, Advertising Revenue, to lead a team of Industry Heads while overseeing the development and execution of innovative commercial strategies tailored for the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize insights and digital proficiency to foster cross-platform revenue growth through comprehensive analysis of consumer behavior and market trends.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to effectively implement global strategies within the UK.
  • Transform existing and introduce new sales strategies, with a strong emphasis on digital platforms.
  • Lead a senior team of Industry Heads managing critical sectors such as Fashion, Beauty & Luxury, Travel, Home, BizFiTech, Media, Entertainment & Auto.
  • Ensure a strong focus on data analysis within the Commercial sales teams to establish team and individual performance metrics.
  • Enhance the overall commercial sales function, setting new standards for excellence and achievement.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with clients and agencies to improve renewal rates and stimulate new business opportunities.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Editorial and Creative teams to ensure alignment of content and successful cross-platform execution.
  • Work alongside Editorial leadership to deliver profitable and high-quality events, creating new opportunities while aligning with brand vision.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, respect, and excellence within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading a commercial sales function in the media sector.
  • Extensive background in commercial revenue generation with a proven track record of driving revenue growth across multiple platforms in a global context.
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to effective people management and building high-performing teams.
  • A creative and engaging leader who promotes an inclusive and empowering workplace.
  • Experience in shaping and implementing global commercial strategies within the media and publishing industries.
  • Established network within the media sector.
  • A self-motivated individual with high energy and exceptional presentation, creative, and analytical abilities.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about Condé Nast's portfolio of brands.
