Job Title: Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team at 2i Recruit Ltd. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounting and audit engagements, ensuring they are completed to internal methodology and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control a portfolio of accounting and audit engagements.
  • Direct and oversee the work of junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring support.
  • Manage all aspects of accounting and audit delivery, including timelines, team briefings, team supervision, and reviews by more senior team members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the accounting or audit client.
  • Oversee the internal profitability of the engagement, including budgeting, fee negotiation, identifying and communicating overruns, raising fees, and agreeing dates for cash collection.
  • Deal with complex accounting and audit issues that arise during the course of an engagement.
  • Communicate with other internal departments on technical matters.
  • Prepare accounting and audit proposals for prospective clients.
  • Performance manage junior team members, ensuring that you are having development conversations that support their growth and career progression.
