About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Pharmacy Business Team as an Administrative Support Officer. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Business Team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 GCSEs or equivalent at grade A-C (level 4-9), including English and Maths.
  • NVQ Level 3 in accounting or business administration or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a business or office environment, preferably in a finance or administrative role.
  • Good level of knowledge and experience of using Excel spreadsheets to log, analyze data, and produce reports.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Working Environment

The successful candidate will be based at the QMC Hospital Campus, with occasional travel to the City Campus and other locations. A full driving license and willingness to travel are essential.
