Job Overview

Service Care Solutions is seeking a committed SAP Workstream Lead to join a Local Authority in Gloucestershire on a temporary basis. This essential position focuses on enhancing existing support frameworks to improve user satisfaction, increase customer accessibility, and optimize operational processes within the Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the current support framework, pinpointing both technical and non-technical user challenges and areas for enhancement.
  • Examine customer access and its influence on existing operational practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the Council to define, design, and establish new universal design principles for support services.
  • Create tailored technical and non-technical support models that align with the Local Authority's requirements.
  • Identify critical functional design modifications necessary for the implementation of a new support model from the outset.
  • Conduct Gap Analysis and Transition Planning:
  • Recognize deficiencies in processes, training, skills, capacity, technology, and change management essential for achieving the new operational model.
  • Formulate a detailed project plan to transition to the new operational model and address identified deficiencies prior to the launch date.
  • Future Roadmap and Efficiencies:
  • Outline subsequent roadmap initiatives and timelines to be managed post-launch for the execution of Phase 2 of the new support services Target Operating Model (TOM).
  • Identify potential efficiencies, process enhancements, and benefits that can be realized in both Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Cloud ERP systems and associated support requirements.
  • Experience with procurement processes, including awareness of recent regulatory updates.
  • Strong comprehension of SAP or ARIBA solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams focused on developing and executing target operating models.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to assess current models and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong project management capabilities to ensure timely transition and implementation of new models.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with various stakeholders within the Local Authority.
