We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation Engineer to support our team's efforts in delivering exceptional technical solutions to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining a variety of systems and equipment, ensuring they meet both company standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation and Setup:
- Install and configure equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Perform system tests to ensure proper functionality and integration with existing systems.
- Technical Support:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Assist customers with operational training and usage instructions.
- Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance.
- Update and upgrade systems as needed to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and customer interactions.
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
- Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous interactions.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all company and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of technical systems or equipment.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, providing technical support and training.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
- Familiarity with various tools and testing equipment used in installations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
This position may require working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, and at heights. Physical requirements may include lifting heavy equipment and standing or walking for extended periods.
