Dietitian - Paediatric Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetics Service at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based dietetic services to children and their families in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Therapeutic Dietary Interventions: Provide expert dietary advice and interventions to paediatric patients with nutrition-related diseases, their carers, and other health professionals.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a high-quality and evidence-based dietetic service is provided to children.
- Communication and Education: Provide credible and reliable sources of paediatric nutrition information for health professionals and families.
- Service Development: Participate in the development of service policies and procedures to ensure a sensitive and accessible service for diverse populations.
- Clinical Effectiveness: Demonstrate clinical effectiveness by using evidence-based practice in providing interventions and evaluating outcomes.
- Communication and Negotiation: Employ excellent written, verbal, and IT skills to communicate with colleagues and clients regarding patient care and project outcomes.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development of risk management and quality standards.
- Food Safety and Infection Control: Use knowledge and legislation to inform clients and health professionals on food safety and ensure minimum food safety standards are complied with.
- Qualifications and Experience: Possess a degree in Dietetics or a related field and have significant experience in paediatric nutrition and dietetics.
- Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills, as well as a strong understanding of paediatric nutrition and dietetics principles.
- Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in paediatric nutrition and dietetics.
