We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient lifting and movement of materials on our construction site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate lifting operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Examine and inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Develop and implement safe lifting procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth site operations.
- Provide clear and accurate signals to crane drivers and other site personnel to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Banksman / Slinger / Lifting Supervisor in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including the HSE Act 1974 and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High standard of spoken English.
