About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe lifting and movement of materials on our construction site. This will involve working closely with the Crane Driver and other site colleagues to ensure that all lifting operations are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Banksman / Slinger / Lifting Supervisor, with a certification in Banksman / Slinger operations. They will also have a strong understanding of the HSE Act 1974, Construction (lifting operations) Regulations of 1961, and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe lifting and movement of materials on site
  • Work closely with the Crane Driver and other site colleagues to ensure that all lifting operations are carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation
  • Examine each item of equipment before it is used for safety reasons
  • Notify the Site Manager of any faults or issues
  • Provide clear and correct signals to the Crane Driver and other site colleagues
