Primary Responsibilities:

We are seeking a meticulous IT Support Analyst with expertise in laptop refresh initiatives. The successful candidate will take charge of imaging new laptops, coordinating refresh schedules with users, updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), facilitating data transfers, and ensuring proper disposal of assets in accordance with company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image New Laptops (Windows & MAC):
    • Prepare and configure new laptops using standardized imaging protocols.
    • Verify that all necessary software and settings are installed and operational.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with company standards prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate Refresh Schedule with Users:
    • Engage with users to arrange laptop refresh appointments.
    • Clearly communicate the refresh timeline and expectations to users.
    • Promptly address any inquiries or concerns from users in a professional manner.
  • Update CMDB:
    • Maintain accurate records in the CMDB with updated hardware information.
    • Ensure that all asset details, including serial numbers and user assignments, are current and precise.
    • Keep detailed logs of all changes for auditing and tracking purposes.
  • Assist with Data Transfer:
    • Support users in backing up and migrating data from old laptops to new devices.
    • Guarantee data integrity and confidentiality throughout the transfer process.
    • Provide post-refresh assistance to resolve any issues related to the new laptops.
  • Dispose of Company Assets:
    • Adhere to established protocols for the disposal of outdated laptops and IT assets.
    • Ensure secure data wiping from devices prior to disposal.
    • Manage asset disposal in compliance with company policies and environmental standards.
  • Enhance Refresh Efficiency:
    • Maintain a high efficiency rate in refreshing 10-15 laptops daily.
    • Continuously seek methods to optimize the refresh process and improve overall efficiency.
    • Minimize downtime and disruption for users during the refresh activities.
