About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Service Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to neonates in our Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and other units.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical practices and policies.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Subpart 1 Adult or Children's Nurse, midwife on the NMC Register.
  • Neonatal Qualification (ENB 405 or equivalent).
  • Recent experience in an acute Trust.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
  • Evidence of facilitating learning in practice.
  • Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
  • Surgical/cardiac experience.
