We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Marshalls PLC. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous running of our production process by eliminating downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.

You will work as part of a skilled Engineering team, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. Your responsibilities will include carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site, working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
  • Work as part of a skilled Engineering team, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure.
  • Carry out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site, working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good working knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • PLC fault finding skills are beneficial, with knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC desirable.
  • A flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements.
  • Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • A clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role.
