Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Autograph Recruitment Ltd as an Accounts Assistant.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing accountancy practice team, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and respond to queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Liaise with HMRC and other external parties to resolve any issues or queries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including preparation of financial statements for a wide range of clients

Requirements:

  • Part AAT qualified or equivalent experience in an accountancy practice, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, Freeagent, and Quickbooks
