Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Linkster Recruitment. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the automation of equipment and machines within our client's facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation solutions using PLCs from various manufacturers such as Schneider, Siemens, Proface, and B&R.
- Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
- Program PLCs using SIEMENS (Step7, WinCC, TIA portal), SCHNEIDER (PL7, Unity, VijeoDesigner, SoMachine), and B&R (automation studio) software.
- Work with robotics, particularly Fanuc, and read schematics using SEE Electrical Expert.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues with minimal programming knowledge.
Requirements:
- Experience with PLC programming and automation.
- Knowledge of SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, and B&R software.
- Familiarity with robotics and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience).
- Additional compensation for overtime and Sunday work (£36 per hour for overtime and £48 per hour for Sundays).
