Capital Economics Graduate Training Scheme

Capital Economics is seeking highly motivated and capable economists to join the company as trainees. Our two-year graduate recruitment scheme offers a unique opportunity to train as an applied macroeconomist.

Trainees will benefit from rotations in four different teams within the company and an internal training program. They will also be eligible for sponsored study for a Master's degree or other post-graduate qualification.

Requirements
  • Enthusiasm and determination to succeed as applied macroeconomists
  • Ability to learn quickly, write clearly, and work to tight deadlines
  • Undergraduate degree in economics or a closely related subject
  • Strong academic record, with a first-class degree or strong upper second-class degree
  • Experience with statistical software, such as Python and R Studio, is beneficial
