Key Responsibilities:

Support and Development of Training Teams:

  • Offer functional assistance to a worldwide team of IT trainers, disseminating advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Engage in capacity planning and skill development initiatives to keep the team proficient in the latest SAP/S4HANA features.

Creation of Training Programs:

  • Collaborate with fellow trainers to enhance existing training methodologies, incorporating innovative and modern instructional techniques.
  • Design, prepare, and conduct train-the-trainer sessions for prospective ZEISS trainers.
  • Organize, prepare, and facilitate end-user training sessions, or support ZEISS trainers in these efforts.

Assessment and Documentation:

  • Assess the impact of training initiatives post-implementation, document findings, and share insights internally to promote ongoing improvement.

Qualifications:

Expertise in SAP:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP and S/4HANA training and consulting on a global scale, with a proven history in software and IT solutions.
  • Experience in executing SAP S/4HANA training projects is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of serial numbers is advantageous.
  • Expertise in at least two specific SAP modules, including:
  • SAP Production Planning (SAP PP)
  • SAP Materials Management (SAP MM)
  • SAP Variant Configuration / Advanced Variant Configuration (VC/AVC)
  • SAP Quality Management (QM)
  • SAP Procure to Pay (P2P)
  • SAP Inventory Management / Extended Warehouse Management / Transportation Management (IM/EWM/TM)
  • SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO)
  • SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD)
  • SAP Customer Service (SAP CS)

Training Program Development:

  • Skilled in developing training plans and materials, coordinating, and implementing training strategies.

Communication and Presentation Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to convey knowledge and content, simplifying and clarifying complex subjects.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft suite, particularly Office and Teams.
  • Experience with SAP Enable Now during training delivery.

Language Proficiency:

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in an additional language such as French, Chinese, or German is a plus.

Industry Insight:

  • Understanding of discrete industries is required.
  • Familiarity with mechanical engineering, high-tech, optics, and semiconductors is beneficial.

Additional Competencies:

  • Experience in managing cross-functional resources in a global context.
  • Strong background in Change Management.
  • Experience in overseeing the comprehensive rollout of global IT training initiatives.
  • Experience in capacity planning and skill enhancement.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business and training purposes, with travel expected to be approximately 25%.
