Reliability Maintenance Supervisor

As a pivotal member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, you will play a crucial role in upholding Amazon's dedication to innovation. This team is essential in ensuring that our tools and technologies evolve alongside our operations.
In your capacity as a Senior RME Technician, you will be instrumental in adopting cutting-edge technologies and discovering new, efficient methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Compliance: Exemplify best practices in equipment safety and oversee teams to ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct visual inspections, condition-based assessments, and preventive maintenance tasks to track equipment performance, scheduling additional servicing as necessary.
- Team Leadership: Supervise technicians during shifts, fostering their professional growth and serving as the primary contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
- Issue Resolution: Address equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize operational downtime, ensuring efficient package processing.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate in identifying opportunities for system enhancements and standardizing processes across the European network.
Throughout your shifts, you will lead a team to ensure that all necessary equipment is operational and functioning optimally. This includes monitoring processes to guarantee compliance with regulations and executing preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
Your observations will drive suggestions for improvements, enhancing the efficiency and productivity of our systems, which will be implemented across a broader operational framework.
Additionally, you will utilize tools such as SCADA to monitor performance metrics and work closely with your line manager to assist with administrative responsibilities.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications- Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, or NVQ level 3.
- Proven experience in a technical leadership position.
- Experience in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Background in automation or material handling equipment environments.
- Advanced proficiency in the local language and basic proficiency in English.
- Experience in a multi-contractor and multi-site environment.
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and compliance requirements.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems for proactive maintenance planning and reactive task recording.
- A degree in a technical discipline, operations, or business administration is preferred.
