Evening Concierge Specialist

Working hours: 40 hours per week.

Compensation: An additional 10% night pay allowance is provided for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

The Salvation Army offers supported housing for individuals aged 25 and older who require assistance with housing, health, and wellness-related guidance. Our organization operates 24/7 and is dedicated to creating opportunities that empower individuals to discover their purpose, build meaningful relationships, and foster a sense of community.

The selected candidate will oversee front desk operations and will be responsible for managing phone inquiries and welcoming external visitors to the facility. The Night Concierge will handle questions regarding available housing options and facilitate access to emergency accommodations when necessary. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the documentation and reporting of maintenance issues, including urgent repairs outside of regular hours.

The ideal candidate(s) will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of two GCSEs, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver an effective front desk experience.
  • Familiarity with regulations pertaining to Health and Safety, as well as safeguarding practices for both service users and staff.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management abilities, with proficiency in various IT applications.
