Job Summary

Newrest is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Allocator to join our team at Newrest London Gatwick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of flight schedules, coordinating with airlines and handling agents, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage off-dock schedules to ensure timely delivery of catering services.
  2. Coordinate with airlines and handling agents to meet departure times and service level agreements.
  3. Verify block plans and update flight schedules for the next day or week.
  4. Allocate drivers and TSA teams to meet departure times and service level agreements.
  5. Ensure compliance with CAA and DFT regulations for dispatch documentation.
  6. Allocate vehicles according to requirements.
  7. Print tickets for out-of-hours aircraft or flight changes.
  8. Communicate with all departments in the event of aircraft or flight changes.
  9. Maintain constant communication with airlines and handling agents.
  10. Complete operational logs accurately.
  11. Ensure products and equipment meet required standards before leaving the unit.
  12. Adhere to COSHH and HACCP regulations at all times.
  13. Follow COVID-19 measures.
  14. Adhere to in-flight services security compliance.
  15. Conduct vehicle security searches in accordance with CAA and DFT regulations.
  16. Support other departments and teams as needed to maintain production/dispatch schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in catering (desirable).
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Good literacy skills, verbal, written, and spoken.
