A leading manufacturing company based in Thirsk is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain heavy production equipment across the plant, including reactive and planned maintenance activities
- Carry out machinery inspections, recording and reporting, and planning repairs
- Work with paint pumps, with experience in these preferable
- Work with Hydrostatic transmissions, Perkins, VM, and Cummings engines
- Maintain side loaders, Counterbalance trucks, and MEWPS
- Install new machinery onsite and assist with improvement projects to enhance machinery efficiencies
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer qualification
- NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering
- Good understanding of HACCP principles
- IEE qualification up to 18th edition wiring regulations
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizing skills
- Awareness and understanding of key legislative and safety requirements within the engineering field
