About The Role

GRAHAM Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHE Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project management teams on health and safety matters.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and high-potential observations, ensuring that lessons learned are communicated throughout the organization.
  • Deliver asbestos awareness training in accordance with UKATA guidelines.
  • Be the main point of contact for completion of construction phase plans in line with UK/ROI legislation.
  • Act as the focal point for liaison with statutory agencies.
  • Prepare initial RAMS for client approval.
  • Assist with responses to PQQ and bids.
  • Liaise with client requirements, including joint audits and attending client SHE meetings.
  • Validate and approve subcontractor SHEQ prequalification checks and onboarding.
  • Complete site audits and inspections during periods of high-risk activities.
  • Monitor updates to current legislation and guidance, providing advice on any business unit impacts.
  • Take a lead role in developing, maintaining, and delivering health and safety/environmental compliance activities.
  • Develop and maintain the company's health and safety management system, ensuring it aligns with ISO requirements.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SHE Manager with a strong background in health and safety, construction, or a related discipline. You will have a formal H&S qualification, such as a NEBOSH General Certificate, and be a holder of a CSCS/CSR card. You will also have appropriate security clearance and a detailed knowledge of temporary works, relevant health and safety legislation, and environmental legislation.

You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in health and safety, gained in construction or a related discipline, and FM operations. You will also have strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills, as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, enthusiastic, and able to interact with site teams, business units, and client teams to ensure effective relationships are established.
