HGV Technician Job Description

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team at TLP.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Technician to join our workshop facility in Bournemouth, Dorset. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles, including 7.5t trucks and tractor units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, service, and repair commercial vehicles to a high standard
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, including presentation and road testing
  • Maintain a recording monitoring system to comply with legal and company requirements
  • Promote safe working practices and ensure site Health & Safety standards comply with Company Policy
Working Hours and Rates

This role is available on a Monday – Friday DAY SHIFT, 07:00 - 16:30, with a half an hour unpaid lunch break. The basic salary is £43,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
