About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Pharmacology Lead to join our innovative biopharma company, developing ground-breaking therapeutics for sexual and mental wellbeing. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our Discovery and Preclinical Research strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Discovery and Preclinical Research strategy, aligning with our company's mission and goals.
  • Oversee daily activities, team, and budget for Discovery and Preclinical Research, ensuring seamless execution and optimal resource allocation.
  • Generate high-quality pharmacology data and build development hypotheses, driving innovation and progress in our therapeutic development pipeline.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners, including CROs, academic centers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and ICH requirements, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Development and Intellectual Property teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to therapeutic development.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Pharmacology or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • Extensive experience in senior Pharmacology and Preclinical roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and guidelines for drug development, with expertise in CNS disease mechanisms and preclinical models.
  • Excellent scientific writing, presenting data, and budget management skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Endnote, and scientific software.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
