Crowe UK is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of accounting specialists, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and accounting services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of accounting specialists, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Review and approve financial documents, including monthly management accounts, VAT returns, and payroll reports, to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines are met for all service lines.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate other services performed on your client portfolio.
- Train team members on accounting principles, software systems, and company policies and procedures.
- Monitor client accounts and address any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- University degree or AAT qualified.
- Part qualified/qualified ACCA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or NetSuite.
