About the Role

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide support to a young man with complex health needs, enabling him to live independently and participate in community activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living support, including personal care and mobility assistance
  • Accompany the individual to hospital appointments and community activities
  • Support the individual to access education and leisure activities
  • Assist with household tasks and meal preparation
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the individual

Requirements

  • Full, clean driving license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities
