Personal Care Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide support to a young man with complex health needs, enabling him to live independently and participate in community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily living support, including personal care and mobility assistance
- Accompany the individual to hospital appointments and community activities
- Support the individual to access education and leisure activities
- Assist with household tasks and meal preparation
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the individual
Requirements
- Full, clean driving license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Willingness to undergo training and development opportunities
