Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Ipswich, UK

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to support a young person living with Angelman Syndrome. The ideal candidate will have a fun-loving personality and enjoy spending time playing games on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate support in all aspects of daily living.
  • Assist with personal care, companionship, and light household duties.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
  • Follow individual care plans and guidelines closely.
  • Plan and participate in leisure activities like outings and engaging in the individual's interests.
  • Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and effective communication with the individual and team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities (preferred).
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual's evolving needs.
  • A UK driver's license is essential.
  • Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development.
