A leading recruitment agency, Lewis Row Recruitment, is seeking an experienced Graduate Recruitment and Business Services Recruiter to manage the full spectrum of the Trainee Recruitment and Training Contract programmes and all Business Services recruitment, working in close collaboration with the Senior Recruitment Manager and HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Graduate Recruitment:
    • Manage and administer all aspects of the Trainee Recruitment and Training Contract programmes from on-boarding to qualification, including but not limited to:
    • Develop and implement a recruitment marketing strategy, managing marketing literature and maintaining the careers website.
    • Monitor the recruitment mailbox and respond to queries/applications as appropriate.
    • Manage the recruitment system.
    • Organize and participate in trainee interviews for vacation scheme and training contract candidates.
    • Track all trainee recruitment activity (vacation scheme, training contracts, etc.).
    • Process all recruitment related expenditure such as external advertising, candidate travel expenses and law fair costs.
    • Arrange future trainee bi-annual maintenance payments.
    • Plan and organize bi-annual trainee dinners.
    • Prepare and submit formal Training Contracts.
    • Organize trainee and NQ inductions.
    • Manage the registration of trainees completing training contracts.
  • Business Services Recruitment:
    • Ensure recruitment licenses are approved with the New York office.
    • Implement the most appropriate and cost-effective recruitment methods, including the use of direct hiring.
    • Track and process all recruitment related expenditure, e.g., external advertising and recruitment fees.
    • Establish and manage strong relationships with key recruitment agencies for Business Services recruitment and ensure appropriate terms and conditions are negotiated and in place.
    • Monitor and manage CVs and candidates through the recruitment portal.
    • Develop an internal framework for the recruitment of Apprentices (where appropriate) and schedule work experience programmes.
    • Conduct project work as required, e.g., salary benchmarking, identifying market trends.
    • Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Recruitment Manager during periods of absence.

A minimum of 3 years' experience working at Advisor level with graduate recruitment and recruitment experience within a US or global law firm is required. Detailed knowledge and understanding of the legal industry as it relates to recruitment and a strong commercial awareness / interest to keep up to date on market trends are essential. Some travel (mostly within the UK) will be required.
