Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Supply Chain operations in the Western Europe Area. As the Area Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for driving optimised supply and demand, ensuring a future-fit supply chain, and embedding new business-as-usual (BAU) capabilities to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and articulate a vision for the Area Supply Chain aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the Supply Chain is ready for regulation and compliant with global standards, policies, and platforms.
  • Lead the development of individuals and teams, acting as a role model and living the company's values.
  • Embed a risk sensing process to enable early identification of risks and suitable mitigation plans.
  • Manage supply risks and mitigation plans to enable demand fulfilment as per service level agreements.
  • Participate in the Supply Chain maturity journey, identifying gaps and building a pathway for development and deployment of Unified Commerce Technology (UCT) and Integrated Workflow System (IWS) processes and capabilities.
  • Actively participate in the Area Supply Chain digitalisation agenda and processes, enabling access to near real-time data, fast decision-making, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in loss elimination and value stream mapping reviews to identify optimisation opportunities for savings, cash release, and non-conforming loss (NCL) reduction.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of middle/senior management experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Supply Chain, ideally with multi-subject area experience in Logistics and Planning.
  • High-level knowledge of standard processes within the business of supply chain and related processes.
  • Proven business change management competence.
  • Exposure to diverse cultures and working environments.
  • Experience in driving transformation across different teams and a proven track record of achieving success through others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in project management principles and processes, ideally within digital transformation of supply chain.
  • Experience in modern project management methodologies, such as Agile.
