Asset Manager Job Description

A leading Public Sector client in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to lead and coordinate HRA related Capital and Revenue investment programmes across Council Housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish overall asset strategies, related investment profiles, and options appraisals based on up-to-date and reliable asset data.
  • Develop and implement 5-year Capital/Revenue programmes based on agreed strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate the collection, management, and use of asset and condition data to enable programmes and packages of work.
  • Support the team in introducing and implementing standard Operating Procedures in line with Service EFQM approach.
  • Contribute to the development of the team approach to data and intelligence.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Construction, Housing, or Project Management discipline or equivalent.
  • Prince 2, MSP, APM qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to deliver a multi-faceted asset management strategy with sound knowledge and experience of programme and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively mentor, support, and empower staff to produce an excellent quality of work.
Salary:

£54,317 - £55,267 per annum.
