Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading multi-disciplinary engineering firm dedicated to innovation, excellence, and environmental stewardship. The ideal candidate will support and oversee ground engineering projects across various locations.
The Junior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Conducting preliminary studies, site evaluations, and surveys to collect essential data.
- Planning and overseeing fieldwork for ground investigations to ensure comprehensive data acquisition.
- Creating detailed schedules for laboratory testing to aid in the analysis of gathered samples.
- Monitoring groundwater and gas levels to evaluate site conditions and identify potential risks.
- Compiling factual reports on geotechnical findings and contaminated land, contributing to the overall assessment process.
The successful Junior Geotechnical Engineer will possess:
- A relevant degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, or Civil Engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A solid understanding of IT systems and processes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Desirable experience of at least one year in a related role or a transferable skill set.
