Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role encompass the following:

  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure a responsive medication request service.
  • Coordinating and preparing repeat medication requests for patients.
  • Performing data entry into patient records and managing electronic prescription services.
  • Engaging with pharmacies to facilitate the supply of prescribed medications and addressing any supply issues.
  • Responding to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and other healthcare organizations in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all communications and ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Conducting monthly inventory checks of medication supplies.
