Job Title: Clinical Advisor

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Advisor to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of interventions within the Thrive Model, working closely with the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to deliver psychological support across the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat young people with complex mental health needs, working with the wider systems including education, social care, and family/carers.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and Team Manager to ensure the effective delivery of psychological support.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies to support young people and their families, including those with neurodevelopment diagnoses and co-morbidity.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in working with young people who present with complexity and significant levels of distress.
  • Experience of supervising and managing others, although support and training can be given for this to the right candidate.
  • Strong interest in developing innovative strategies to support young people and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
