Reed Exhibitions is a premier events organization that excels in orchestrating top-tier Travel Portfolio events, including IBTM, ILTM, WTM, and ATM. Our mission is to link high-caliber industry professionals with exhibitors, fostering productive and beneficial business relationships. The Buyer Team is responsible for recruiting esteemed Meeting, Event, Conference, and Incentive (MICE) organizers, as well as Luxury Travel Advisors, to participate in our events, ensuring they have a rewarding experience and become enthusiastic advocates for our events.

About the Role

As a Hosted Buyer Account Executive, your role will involve identifying high-value individual and group buyers for Reed Exhibitions' Travel Portfolio events. You will concentrate on maintaining buyer quality, enhancing the value proposition, and achieving recruitment objectives. Attendance at events and some travel will be necessary.

This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the creation and execution of the Hosted Buyer Programme recruitment strategy for each event. Performing administrative and event management tasks to support the Hosted Buyer Programme. Formulating a research and recruitment strategy to achieve personal recruitment goals. Aiding Hosted Buyer Account Managers in nurturing relationships with group and individual buyers. Ensuring consistent communication with buyers and meeting assigned recruitment targets. Contributing to the expansion of the buyer database and maintaining precise industry contacts. Handling incoming buyer inquiries and feedback to ensure smooth program execution.

Requirements

Proven experience at the account executive level or in a similar capacity. Experience in large-scale, dynamic environments. Familiarity with the Meeting Incentive, Conference, and Events / Luxury Travel sectors. Proficiency in sales intelligence software, CRM systems, and database management tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Capability to meet and exceed performance targets.
