Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Telecoms Engineer - Self Employed to join our team at GMS International. As a Field Engineer - Telecoms and Broadband, you will be responsible for installing broadband, TV services, resolving broadband faults, and optimizing speed in our customers' premises on behalf of our clients.

About the Role: As an IT Field Engineer - Telecoms and Broadband, you will work on a long-term self-employed basis, providing excellent customer service and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. You will be given full and ongoing training in the role, and also be fully supported throughout your working day by a dedicated service centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install broadband, TV services, and resolve broadband faults in customers' premises.
  • Optimize speed and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Work on a rotational basis with flexible working options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points and at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • Friendly, customer-focused, and able to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Interest in IT, broadband, telephony, and digital TV technology.
