About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Finance Data Team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our finance platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data engineering solutions to support our finance platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data models and architectures.
  • Work with finance subject matter experts to define data mapping and downstream consumption and integration requirements.
  • Support and improve financial reporting, ensuring high speed and accuracy.
  • Act as the point of contact for queries around the system and associated reporting.
  • Coordinate activities across teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a data engineer or related role, with a strong background in cloud services at scale.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with finance/accountancy data/systems, specifically general ledger information.
  • Good understanding of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
  • Desirable exposure to Informatica tool.
