**About the Role**

This pivotal position sees you working alongside our award-winning Corporate Finance team to provide advisory services to our well-established portfolio of large corporate clients and private equity houses.

You'll be part of a collaborative 130-strong multi-discipline tax team who are spread across our nine offices. With support from our 13 experienced Tax Partners, you will have plenty of opportunities to grow the practice and your tax career.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead on a wide variety of complex projects, bringing in and managing the input of specialist services where needed, including:
    • Buy side and vendor due diligence projects
    • Liaising with non-UK firms in the PKF network to obtain input on international tax projects
  • Assist the Partners in the strategy and development of the Transaction Tax practice by building and developing client relationships and the firm's network both in conjunction with our Corporate Finance team and as a stand-alone practice
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior members of the team to assist with the overall development of their careers and the team as a whole
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of processes and procedures to help with risk management and the efficient running of the practice
  • Assist with developing and delivering tax technical training for the team

**Requirements**

  • Significant experience of tax with a focus on company and shareholder taxation, structuring and transactions, and the ability to lead on these projects in a high-pressured environment
  • Excellent technical tax knowledge
  • CTA qualification, ACA or ACCA an advantage
  • Proven coaching ability
