Job Title: Adults Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic RYA Senior Instructor to join our Leisure Development Officers team at our busy Watersports and Activity Centre in Wimbledon Park.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality training and development across a wide range of outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide quality training and development across a range of outdoor activities, ensuring all relevant safety aspects are adhered to.
  2. Deliver RYA courses within the National & Youth Schemes, promoting excellence in watersports instruction.
  3. Assist in the management of maintaining the training fleet, ensuring it is well-maintained and fit for purpose.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. RYA Senior Instructor qualification with valid FA certificate.
  2. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a RTC as an active Senior Instructor.
  3. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with adults and children, including those with additional needs.
Desirable Qualifications:

RYA Powerboat Instructor, British Canoeing Instructor/BCAB Paddlesports Instructor, Windsurf/Dinghy Instructor, Racing/Advanced Instructor endorsements, and good technical knowledge of the RYA and Adventure marked activities.
