Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical/Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our production and ancillary machinery, equipment, and power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, repairs, and replacements, to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical fault diagnoses and repairs, utilizing your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Monitor and report on equipment performance, identifying trends and areas for optimization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs and automation systems.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Indentured Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with automotive machinery maintenance and fault diagnoses.
  • PLC experience with Siemens or Rockwell systems.
