We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Behavioural Therapist. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in supporting young people with behavioural needs and a strong desire to pursue a career in behavioural therapy.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in mental health support and be proactive in their approach. Previous experience working with young children or adults with additional needs is beneficial but not essential.
As a Behavioural Therapist, you will work on a one-to-one basis with students, ensuring they are on task and collaborating with the class teacher and other experienced staff to provide tailored education. You will also play a role in identifying and addressing possible triggers for the pupils in regard to their trauma and psychological needs.
The role will involve facilitating different therapeutic techniques to promote students' mental well-being. You will be part of a supportive team that is dedicated to providing excellent care and education to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with behavioural needs
- Working with the class teacher and other staff to provide tailored education
- Identifying and addressing triggers for students' trauma and psychological needs
- Facilitating therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being
Requirements:
