We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Dalziel. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you will be responsible for executing tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Main Responsibilities
- Process daily banking transactions, including BACS, cheques, and cash.
- Ensure accurate allocation of customer receipts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the credit controller to resolve customer queries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Process purchase invoices and manage supplier relationships.
- Perform general administrative duties and provide support to the wider office team as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Relevant experience working in a finance team, preferably in a similar role.
- Previous experience with sales ledger and purchase ledger management is preferred but not essential.
- Cash handling experience is essential, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and numerical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
