Job Description

**Job Title:** Night Site Operations Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Site Operations Manager to join our team at Rd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of site activities, ensuring the safe and optimal operation of all plant, equipment, and personnel, while delivering an excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Supervise Site Activities:** Oversee various operational activities at the site, ensuring compliance with all Safe Systems of Work, including risk assessments and method statements.
  2. **Inspect Materials:** Conduct regular inspections of materials being received and dispatched to ensure quality and compliance.
  3. **Ensure Compliance:** Ensure all operations carried out comply with all current HSQE legislation and company management systems and policies, while promoting safe working practices.
  4. **Optimize Operations:** Maintain the flow of customers and Collard vehicles, improving the waste acceptance process where necessary.
  5. **Maximize Productivity:** Ensure productivity is maximized at all times, communicating any issues to management.
  6. **Maintain Site:** Ensure the facilities are kept clean, tidy, and free of trip hazards, and that the site remains secure during operations and at the end of shifts.
  7. **Plant Inspections:** Ensure plant inspections are completed on time and that all defects are reported.
  8. **Project Support:** Assist management with the identification, planning, and delivery of projects and site improvements.
  9. **Fire Marshall:** Serve as the designated Fire Marshall.
  10. **Driving License:** Possess a full UK driving license.
  11. **Experience:** Have experience in supervising waste management and plant operations.
  12. **Planning and Organization:** Demonstrate strong planning and organization skills.
  13. **Software Skills:** Effectively utilize a range of software, including the MS office suite.
