About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at Templewood Recruitment. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development of new build and conversion projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Supervision: Provide on-site supervision and direction to contractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory standards, and company expectations.
  2. Cost Control: Analyze and negotiate costs for tenders and contracts, ensuring efficient budget management and ROI.
  3. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all work meets company standards.
  4. Contractor Management: Liaise with contractors, building control, and CDM as required, ensuring smooth project execution.
  5. Project Review: Regularly review and comment on the value of works completed, ensuring alignment with customer vision.
  6. Safety Regulations: Enforce strict safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and review contractor RAMS.
Requirements
  1. Previous Project Management Experience: Proven track record in commercial project management, with experience in retail, warehousing, developments, and refurbishments.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project, with advanced budgetary awareness and decision-making skills.
  3. Soft Skills: Adaptability, multitasking, and a can-do attitude, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
