About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Commercial Manager to join our team at Tarmac Trading Limited. As a key member of our Packed Products division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring the team's compliance with legal requirements and Group standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue and contribution margin growth for new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with the Packed Products Director to recommend and deliver against agreed sales targets.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the Sales teams to ensure all stated objectives, aims, and targets are achieved.
  • Develop a high-performing team with a culture of delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Accountable for ensuring the Specialist Products sales team fully comply with legal requirements and Group standards for safety and business conduct.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven track record of managing, leading, and developing sales teams in the building material sector.
  • Experience of project management and the development of compelling sales value propositions.
  • Strong understanding of selling and negotiation techniques.
