SEN Lecturer Position

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified SEN Lecturer to join our team in Romford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and supporting learners with challenging behaviours, particularly those aged 14-19.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and support learners with high needs, utilizing a range of strategies to promote engagement and progress.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of learners, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources, enhancing the overall learning environment.
- Assess and record learner progress, providing constructive feedback to inform future instruction.
- Qualified Teacher: Must hold a recognized teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- High Needs Provision Experience: Proven experience in providing high needs support, with a focus on learners with challenging behaviours.
- Teaching Qualification with Relevant Sub-Specialism: Specific expertise in a relevant sub-specialism, such as Functional Skills English or Maths.
- Experience with Challenging Behaviours: Recent and relevant experience teaching 14-19 year old learners with challenging behaviours.
- FE College Experience: Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting, with a focus on vocational subjects.
- Vocational Subject Teaching: Recent teaching and assessment experience in a vocational subject, such as Business Studies or IT.
