Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified SEN teacher to join our team at Five Education. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching and supporting individuals with SEMH, Autism, Complex Needs, and other special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to a small class of primary and secondary-age children with SEMH needs.
  • Develop and implement SEMH-friendly teaching methods to support the children's learning.
  • Work collaboratively with the school staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Previous classroom teaching experience.
  • Right to work in the UK (valid visa).
  • At least two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/police checks.
  • Experience of teaching/supporting individuals with SEN/Autism/Complex Needs/SEMH.
