Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, ensuring that our businesses operate within the required legal frameworks.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to provide expert advice and guidance on employment law matters.
- Oversee and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Assist our group of companies, including Brookson Group, with legal matters related to their businesses, ensuring that they operate within the bounds of the law.
- Develop and maintain personal knowledge of sub-regional labor laws, contract, and regulatory matters, providing expert advice to internal and external business functions.
- Train and educate internal staff on sub-regional legal, contract, and regulatory matters, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor legal practices and developments, legislative changes, and industry trends, ensuring that our business remains compliant and up-to-date.
- 2-3 years' experience drafting and negotiating labor law contracts, MSAs, and employment documents, with expertise in compliance and regulatory laws.
- Strong leadership, influencing skills, and ability to provide clear direction to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage a varied workload and prioritize tasks to meet structured deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain compliance elements to business and clients.
- Enthusiasm to develop expertise in sub-regional labor, contract, and compliance matters.
- Willingness to learn sub-regional data protection rules and help implement related policies and procedures.
- Collaborative approach, working with diverse teams across divisions and regions, fostering a supportive environment.
- Motivation to build, lead, and develop a team, with a results-driven mindset and strong sense of accountability.
- Salary up to £49,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
