Job Opportunity: Telecommunications Civils Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and locate blockages in the underground system on the BT network.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out and all processes are followed regarding permits.
  • Reinstate and make good groundworks and accreditations, with experience using heavy machinery, jackhammers, Stihl saws, and wacker plates.
  • Provide excellent customer service, with effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Prioritize tasks and find the best customer solutions possible.
  • Travel to different areas of the country, with occasional overtime required to meet customer service targets.
  • Work in various weather conditions and be medically fit to perform a physically demanding job.
  • Collaborate with teams or work independently to meet SLA KPIs set by our partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Hold relevant accreditations, including NRSWA 01 – 08, LA – CAT and Genny, SA004 – Abrasive Wheels, and SAOO2 – PIA Underground Safety (preferred).
